We very much enjoyed our recent stay at your lodge. The rooms worked out very well and the location is great. I would just sit on the porch and watch the water go by. Our granddaughter keep looking for fish even after you told us that "the fish are sleeping." Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Thanks for a great couple of nights. It was a nice get away and the

To be honest, after our trip to Rocky Mountains, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Sequoia/Kings Canyon and Yosemite national parks, and after spending many nights around many hotels and lodges, I must say that our stay at your lodge was the best we had in the whole trip.
I really mean it. Not just because the cabin was nice and cozy (we loved the fireplace!), but because we were welcomed by you as family and we felt like home. Having the river and the national park steps away was amazing too.
Also, I can't praise enough how charmed we felt with Estes Park. Beautiful town, friendly people, sometimes so friendly that we thought we were in a Disney family movie.
I can't really think of any other suggestion than "keep doing what you're doing!".
I hope to visit Estes Park again in the future, and bring the rest of the family to your great lodge, I know they'll love it as much as we did.

The lodge was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and everyting so clean. The grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. The creek, snow, and hiking trails were scenes froma postcard. We were visitng Colorado to enjoy the snow and to hike, and so we certainly appreciated the convenience of the Rocky Mtn park right down the road!.We will definitely tell others about your place!

We had a wonderful time in Estes Park and loved staying at Swiftcurrent Lodge. The river right outside our window was excellent as well as reading by the river during the late afternoon.
I have recommended your lodge to numerous people and told them that if they go to Estes Park they should really stay there.
We are back in hot, hot Dallas (104 degrees today) and are starting to plan our next vacation to cooler climates.

"In July 2010 we stayed at a motel in Estes Park and decided to drive around looking for lodges or inns on either the Fall River or the Big Thompson. We came upon the Swiftcurrent Lodge on the Big Thompson and loved the location and "feel" of the facilities. The owners Gary and Coni let us walk around on the property, and during that walk-around, two different couples staying there talked to us about how much they love the place and come back every year. Based on that visit we decided to stay there during our July 2011 visit and were not disappointed! We had a place on the river and the accomodations were wonderful. The scenic views were fantastic, and if you like hiking, there are several different trails from the inn that lead directly into Rocky Mountain National Park. One hike we particularly loved was the hike to Moraine Park, where the scenery is simply awesome. Gary and Coni have owned and operated the inn for 15 years now and are doing a wonderful job of making guest feel welcome and creating a friendly environment. The lodge is just far enough away from town to give it a secluded feel, yet close enough to take a short drive into town to enjoy the amenities of Estes Park itself. We will return again next year."

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Swiftcurrent Lodge. We enjoyed the balcony view overlooking the river and no doubt will always remember the sweet sounds of the river throughout the day and night. We also enjoyed the loop walk, and appreciated the lodge's proximity to the park. I cannot think of anything additional you might have done to make our stay any better, and we appreciated your good cheer and willingness to help us obtain our airline boarding passes. We will certainly be recommending you to any of our friends who might be visiting the area.

We just feel like Swiftcurrent is a second home but even more relaxed than home!
We even got to see a bear this year - of course, all we got on the camera was the overturned
barrel!
Last night I was reading what people had written in the journal & I found something written
several pages past the last one. I was just so moved by it, especially after you & I had talked
about how little control we actually have over our lives. God is using Swiftcurrent in so many
ways! You bet we will recommend yours as a great place to stay!

We had a really wonderful week at your place. The setting was just what we expected, and the unit we had (#10) was just perfect for us. We were able to cook there, and avoid the crowds and hassle downtown. Having the gas grill available was great. The swings by the river were just perfect (I read 3 books!) and we enjoyed the hot tub as well. |

Your greeter "Timber" was fun to visit with and the three Elk that appeared by the picnic area were an unexpected surprise that we'll always remember, I must have taken twenty pic's of them but I couldn't stop because I may never get that close to large bull elk with those great velvet covered antlers again. like fishing and hiking - you will find it straight out the
cottage back door. The lodge location is great, 5 minutes
from downtown Estes Park; but off the beaten path, secluded
and sheltered from any highway noise and tourist congestion.
The cottage was very clean, well furnished, and comfortable.
The firepit, hot tub and the many benches riverside add to

frigid waters swished along the snowy shore, enjoying the
Chickadees and Stellar's Jay play tag in the towering aspens

Park area! Nestled by the Big Thompson River, cabins
and rooms with very reasonable room rates are afforded the
sound of rushing water to lull guests to sleep. Perfect
in its simplicity, Swiftcurrent Lodge offers very personalized
service. A pleasant and easy 30 minute walk from the
lodge puts visitors in Moraine Park with breath taking views
of Longs Peak, and elk grazing by meandering streams.
