| WILDLIFE: Depending on the time of year you stay at the Swiftcurrent Lodge, there are many types of wildlife you may see. Elk, deer, marmots, ermine, raccoons, cottontails, coyotes, Abert's squirrels, misc. squirrels, and chipmunks. Birds ranging from hummingbird to eagle. Jay's, kingfishers, various woodpeckers, owls, ducks, chickadees, dippers, and ptarmigans. |

| FISHING: Enjoy river fishing right outside your back door on the Big Thompson River. There are several lakes nearby for lake fisherman. We have had Brown, Brook, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout pulled from the river, one of the largest being 22"! |
